A Letter from the Editors
adapted from Bonjour IM with David Fickas
6/16/08 7:01 PM
Hey Brice, So I was thinking we should discuss the updates on THE BOARD on our website. And since you are sitting next to me I thought I would send you an IM. Cool?

Okay.

So... um... we are, wait hold on, I'm getting a text.

Okay. I'm back.
What was I saying?
Oh wait, I just read it.

Read it back

I did. Now this is out of order. Should we start over?

No. I'll fix it in post.

Cool. So, this update to THE BOARD. What's different? And why did it take so long for us to update it since we last updated it. Update me?

Well, I built the nifty BOARD_MARK1 in Flash, which looked great and functioned great... but then my computer crashed and I lost all the original files. And rebuilding it from scratch would be a headache I don't need.

That sucks. I remember that. I miss February. So are you gonna archive any of the fun things that were on our last Board like our Showcase Trailer or the Bulbar Trailer?

Uh... do you want me to?

'Cause that's a bunch of extra work

If it's not too much trouble? Or maybe we can make a few links to some of the stuff we have done in the past few months? Example: Our New Reel.

All right, fine. Look below for old goodies from THE BOARD_MARK1

Do you think Facebook is kicking Myspace's ass? Should we start a Drama 3/4 facebook thing?

We have a group page for Another Showcase Showdown, but I don't want to start a fan page until we have some more fans.
That makes sense. Then we should at least mention all the stuff that's going on The Board like Rachael in the Twinprov show, Lakin's show, Penny Relentless?

We don't NEED to mention that stuff; it's all ON The Board. That's why we have The Board. Just scroll down and there it is.
That makes sense too.

Is this getting too long?

Yes. Stop. Now.

k

Identical Twins Doing a One Man IMPROV Show

TWIN-PROV comes from the Latin twinneculum andimprovitus which, in short, translates to "Beings split from the same egg making up a comedy show on stage."

COME see these oddities of nature perform a character-driven,
short-form improv show!
LIVE comedy scenes performed and made up from freaks of nature Peter and Paul Vogt!
STRANGE BUT TRUE: The audience will assist the Twins when asked for suggestions of all kinds!
WATCH IN AWE as they use these shouted-out ideas to create instant theater!
SEE Rachael Lawrence, the piano-playing princess, the only human who can musically improvise and support the double births!
Be AMAZED as they welcome a couple of guest stars to join in the fun.
LAUGH at two heads, two brains, two bodies equaling one man.

Always interesting, always entertaining, never the same show twice!
It's not just improv, it's TWIN-PROV!

His sister just went goth...
His best friend is always stoned...
His piano-playing buddy might be gay...
And his dog just died.

Starring Andrea Bowen ("Desperate Housewives"), Joseph Porter, Jaden Leigh, Nick Ballard, Wyatt Fenner, Lauren Robyne,
Megan McNulty and Christine Lakin
